The knife looks and feels out of place in all that soft cream and red, especially with its asymmetry compared to the rest of the picture. I'm torn on whether I don't like it, or it adds depth in a 'something is off,' or 'unnaturalness of self-harm' sort of way.

Was it intentional, or was the addition a whim?
